Testimonial

Weve travelled the Victoria-Queensland route many times over the years, and its been hit and miss with the motels we have stayed in along the way. We stayed at the Cooee Motel on the 26th of December 2015, and after a long day we were very relieved to find the hosts very welcoming and their motel to be quiet (which surprised us as it faces the highway), comfortable and clean. They also gave us a RACQ discount, which is always a positive way to start your stay. I would recommend staying here, and will seek it out for our future trips. The only thing I would mention is that free wi-fi is advertised on their board out the front, but in the room booklet it says there is a charge - there isnt, just go and ask at reception and they will give you the password free of charge without question.

“Quiet, comfortable”

We stayed here on our way to qld. Fabulous friendly people who welcomed us. Perfect home cooked meals delivered to our room which was great after driving all day. The room was clean and has everything we need. Lovely gardens at the front for children to run off some energy after being in a car all day traveling. This was our second stay here and would recommend to anyone traveling through

“Fantastic place to stay”

Stayed overnight on Tues 22nd Dec , 2015 . This motel is an absolute gem in the accommodation industry . Spotless , well maintained rooms and grounds with all amenities , undercover car parking in front of rooms , meals provided to rooms - and very well priced accommodation. In the Cooee Motel room compendium , there is a verse that states : " May this room and motel be your second home " . We hope that you will be as comfortable as in your own house." This verse describes this motel to a tee - if accommodation providers throughout Australia visited this motel , they would learn the art of hospitality from professionals . Merry Xmas and prosperous New Year Lois and Tony !
